I had to compile and install Thunar 1.6.10 because the latest 1.6.11 seems to be a bit buggy. I work with files on my LAN servers and pretty much nothing is stored locally. It happens that Thunar 1.6.11 does not refresh network folders when renaming files not it renames files or folders when one tries to do so (on network folders). I'm not sure if you've noticed the bug but it is there.
