Skype install fails on x64 LL 3.2
#1

Jerry,

It seems I cannot install Skype on x64 systems. Can you run a test in a 64 machine and see if you can get skype installed via Lite Software?

ps. It works fine in x32 version, just not in x64.

No issues here on 64bit after full testing. Control file shows same names too, first place I looked for differences.

Well, your x64 system is actually doing something that escapes my understanding... or maybe my system is?

But I certainly have no held packages in my system and it is fully up-to-date

Did you have to enable MultiArch in your system by any chance? I can't think of anything else at this point.

My test was in a VM, I'll try on actual hardware soon and report back.

In addition, I have concluded that our OS has achieved full A.I. it is able to think on it's own and is able to in some cases, reproduce inconsistent anomalies across different hardware :)
