Hi Jerry,

I have a new update for Lite Update Task selector ready to be pushed to master. Taking into account that the visual icon does help the end user, here is the new Task Selector proposition:

#1- Using a List instead of a checkbox so that users can click (or double click to execute) any of the two options instead of having to select a check box.

#2- I'm planning on changing the header font for Install/Remove software to emphasize it as comments but I need to hear your opinion in having 2 font types on the same screen:

2 - The use of two fonts is fine. A good option for our other apps too.

I'm trying to keep an acceptable dialog size by using more words in that section, otherwise it looks too narrow. How about we rename it to:

Install popular Linux Software
Remove popular Linux Software

I understand. I'm happy to leave it as Install Software and Remove Software. We've had no complaints in this regard. Such a change should be considered if there are people who object to the way it currently is. Having said that, there is also a chance to improve something and still keep people happy.

I'm going to stick with; Install Software, Remove Software. It's always been that way. Short, simple and descriptive. People look at it, knows what it does. Lite Software aims to achieve a sense of familiarity for our target audience (Windows) by offering familiar software and easy to use linux only software. I hate having to veto some decisions in a dev community, there is always a chance it will be interpreted as dictatorial.

I like your ideas Ralphy. Surely, it is rare that there is for the most part, 90% agreement in our collaboration. I'd like to see how that stacks up vs other communities.

Oh Jerry, I'm sorry to to break it up but I pushed it to master as "Install/Remove popular Linux Software. Please make sure to reword this and center the upper text in master. I didn't thought it was such a big thing. :(

I've committed changes to master as requested (Install/Remove Software).

Like I said before, these are things that don't touch my skin. I do not take them personal. It is a decision based on what you believe it is better for end users and you certainly have more experience with your distro than anyone else. It wouldn't be clever for me to try to make a point otherwise.
