I have new computer, LL loads very fast. 8)
I can't get online thought! had a look at the Help manual Network not different to what I had done on a wired network.
Dose have a CD that can with motherboard but looks like it's for Windows only!
New computer doesn't have a CD/DVD drive I used my neighbor computer look what was on disk.
Am using the onboard Nic.
So how can I get online and getupdates? Also am using LL 2.4 version.
Do I need to buy a Nic card?
Gigabyte GA Z170M motherboard & link to drivers but looks like Windows only.

@Dyslexic1
Looking at that link, It is quite an up-to-date spec, it's already got an on board Intel NIC.
You should be able to just connect it to your broadband router with LAN/Network Cable.
I have just done a NUC build for a friend, that was very new H/W,
and needed kernel 4.2 to get rid of some CPU errors.
Do the inxi command Jerry requested.

Try and get one of those cheap usb network cards. like something like this.

as a backup they are cheap and always useful for these kind of scenarios.

Hi,
Is it actually plugged into your router/network.??
That looks like it is not initialised..??
If yes, are there any lights.?? Green/Yellow/Orange
The device id shown by inxi points to this Kernel information which shows it's supported
I doubt it, but you never know...
Check the BIOS to make sure it's enabled, normally it should be.
Look in the motherboard/BIOS manual for any options for enabling/disabling.
