Luck. :)
You had a lot of trials on the manual design.
It must have been fun. :P
Please keep this design it's simle just the way LL is. and it's very elegant.
On the technical side it's logical and easy to understand.

Jerry & Misko,

Very sorry -- somehow I completely missed seeing all of these posts about the Manual starting from post #12 back on March 28th!  (Probably because I don't normally log in to the site unless I see a post I want to respond to and this category doesn't show up unless I'm logged-in.  I'll have to make it a habit to login and check Developers Corner manually a few times a week.)

Like the new template design you've found here Jerry.  Will toy around with this over the next week and get back to you both with more feedback.  One thing that comes to mind is that it would be nice to have the ability to click each main category on the left and see a sub-menu listing specific topics with links directly to their pages.  Don't know how easy that is to do, but I'll try figuring that out this week.

Bill.

Thanks for responding Bill. Regarding seeing posts, you should be automatically subscribed to any thread you participate in (unless you have that turned off in your Profile)

Re. submenus - on a mobile device there is a real estate issue here, good for desktops, not so good for mobile devices :)

The test site itself is currently - https://www.linuxliteos.com/manualbeta2/ and is very incomplete. I try to do a little each day, time permitting. As of today, Start is the only complete page, Install is 50% done (needs a code tidy) All other pages point to 404.html If its not at that address, there may be a newer version uploaded, just change the last part of the url to manualbeta3, manualbeta4, manualbeta5 etc.

Hi Bill,
It happens because this thread can't be seen unless you log in.
I like how this template looks. It's super easy and woks good on mobile and tablet.
You probably haven't seen the amazing pdf version of the help manual Jerry has made. Jerry and I talked about that on Skype. It has a contents page that can be used for navigation. Can't find the link to it on the site to show you.

Jerry,
Linus Lite is 17. Social networks are a good way of telling people about this distro. :)
