I am using Linux Lite 2.2 on my desktop and decided to load it on my laptop. During the installation I have to select the keyboard type but the keyboard is not recognized so I cannot continue. The laptop was purchased with Windows XP installed and the keyboard worked fine. I then installed windows 7 and again it was fine. The laptop is an LG LW25 (LGW2) Pro Express Dual. Any ideas as to why the keyboard is not being recognized and what can I do to solve the problem?

Try Fn+Numlock or Fn+ another key (possibly one of the F keys on the top row). This is covered on the first page of the Help Manual.
Download your free copy of Linux Lite today.

Hi Hilton,
I agree with Jerry, it's probably some key combination but you can always try an external keyboard while you troubleshoot the internal one. Scott ![]() |
