		i know i asked this before, but now that Linux Lite 3.8 is now released as final, when will the 3.8 life cycle end (support, updates, security updates) ?. will all end when 4.0 gets released as final ?........ also when i upgrade from 3.6 to 3.8, will i lose all my saved files (video clips, photos, so and and so on) ?, yes i did a back up of all my files .

Ran Lite upgrade on 3 systems - no loss... Easy breezy only a couple minutes.. 
From Menu
Run Install Updates
then Lite Upgrade
as for support 
Linux Lite 3.8 Release - 1st February 2018 (End of Support April 2021)

		Did the upgrade on my Thinkpad X220 today. The whole operation (install updates (for 3.6), reboot, install upgrade, check for updates) took all of about 10-15 minutes. I already had TLP installed (highly recommended for Thinkpad users!) and Lite Tweaks recognized that.

		Ran 64bit  upgrade on the Fuji Si1520 after backing up data to usb stick. Ran smoothly .   Then updates.  All seems sweet.

		Seamless on 3 machines.  Just followed upgrade guidelines.  One was from ll3.4 > ll3.8.
