It's your chipset. The RT5390 is well known. The fix isn't what I would call new-user friendly, but at least it's a fix - https://askubuntu.com/questions/1011752/...fi-drivers see the second post, do not miss any steps. Reboot after all steps. I prefer this one - https://github.com/agerwick/RT28XX-RT539X-Linux-driver
