Nice idea from Jesse to try on a cellular HotSpot.
I have seen more than once a Wi-Fi router or card getting "tired" (i.e. internal components showing age).
For example, I do charity work and D-Link routers of a certain age are trashed since always problematic.
You could also try borrowing a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter.
I say "compatible" since I had a bunch of adapter over the years, on different OSes, that were not always up to par.
