I never used an Apple 2E, was that the one with a wooden board inside? I don't remember my Apple history class , hehe!
Amiga... aaaah! I never had an Amiga 1000 but when Soundblaster came out in 1989 (Wikipedia is my friend) is was one channel digital mono, Amiga had 4 channel stereo since 1985... It's almost a mystery why PC's became gaming machines... scratch that, DOOM! LoL
