Assuming you already installed the nvidia video driver from Install Drivers:

1. Restart your pc.

2. Open a Terminal and enter each line:

sudo update-grub

Code:
sudo nvidia-xconfig -a --cool-bits=28 --allow-empty-initial-configuration

3. Restart your pc.
