Kernel Install/Remove issue with a kernel later than what LL provides

I'm seeing updates to the 4.4 kernel family, but nothing for the 4.11 family

You won't see updates for our custom kernels. They are made available to people who need them (incompatible hardware)

Also, the kernel removal tool only sees the kernels that LL knows about. Removing the 4.11 kernel is not provided as an option.

You need to boot into the old kernel in order to see the new one in the removal list.

If I wanted to remove the 4.11 kernel and go back to the 4.4 series as default, what needs to be done?

You need to boot into the 4.4 kernel to remove the 4.11. Please only install kernels if you truly need them. Curiosity can end you up in chaos sometimes
