For WinRAR do you just want the ability to open (unrar) a RAR file or do you actually want to install the Windows version of this software in linux?

The ability to unrar a file is available by default. See "Creating and Extracting Zip files" in the LL user manual here https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/softw...ml#archive.
