I have no problems with linuxlite style of upgrading/updating, it is fairly normal for version(release) based distros
Windows 10, of course is massively intrusive and forces updates no matter how the user sees it or how it can be delayed, but not controlled
--hence, being a long time Linux user, and seeing no need for windows OS any (10x etc ), I just keep going and going and going with little if any issues or problems in almost any linux disto
just like the Rabbit commercial, battery power
By the way, I do find linuxlite nice and quick(fast0 and if I do upgrade my computer, it would only to make it more multitaskable (+RAM +faster GPU + faster CPU), but at the moment even with 2GB RAM and an older CPU (AMD Athlon-64)and older video car (GT660)
--it is more than efficient and capableĀ for most anything I need to do..
