How can I upgrade From 2.8 to 3.0

I do as I always do when creating  Bootable USB I use USB creator from Ubuntu or Image writer, then burn My ISO file that way

I checked hash md5 checksum; everything looks good

I also unchecked the box for updates when installing just to speed up the process

For some reason it refuses to install and freezese on at least two of my machines
