How can I upgrade From 2.8 to 3.0

Thanks so much for the response, 2.0 runs great but trying to install 3.0 is giving me a hard time it constantly freezes and will not proceed with the installation

I even try installing 3.0 on a Dell latitude 610 2-GB of Ram 60-GB hard drive and it refuses to install

I've try a few times and I get the same results not sure what's wrong
