Hopefully, the next version of Linux Lite will keep the current kernel because everything is working great. If not and there is a problem with a newer kernel, I'll have to learn how to roll back to the one in 2.4.

Not speaking for Jerry, but I think shiping with the current LTS kernel will be the case. And still providing the latest kernel release in the lite repos. So that users get the best of both worlds. I see no reason currently to ship the newest kernel on the iso. If anyone has a good reason counter to this tho... please correct me.
