Problem with sound on internet

Thanks a lot. Over thinking was definitely the problem. It was muted, though by

the volume icon it wasn't showing that it was.

I went into sound settings and got it all straightened out. Not quite used to Linux lite yet and should have checked the manual out more thoroughly. Oh well...ha ha, at 61 I'm still living and learning. I came from using Fedora for the last couple of years and wanted a more lean system. There's differences but it is still linux. I really should have known how to figure this out, but was making a mountain out of an ant hill. Tks again!
