The solution:

sudo convert /usr/lib/primeindicator/intel.png -resize 24x24 /usr/lib/primeindicator/intel.png
sudo convert /usr/lib/primeindicator/nvidia.png -resize 24x24 /usr/lib/primeindicator/nvidia.png
