Mouse Lag in Draftsight CAD Software
#1
I installed the 64bit version of LL as Draftsight no longer supports 32 bit.  However, the mouse does not move on the CAD screen properly - it seems to lag to the extent that it's unusable.  This may just be a problem with Draftsight but if there is anything I can do in Linux Lite I'd appreciate it.  I'm using a Lenovo X-130e laptop with a Logitech mouse.  Thanks.

You can try fiddling with

menu -> settings -> mouse and touchpad

Change the pointer speed???

Is the mouse wired or wireless?

I have tried all of the mouse settings.  It is a logitech usb wireless mouse.  I have tried a wired mouse but it does the same thing.  Thanks for any help.

If no luck after reading through, contact that company for Support since we know nothing about the software. Cheers.

Thanks.  It helped a little.  I have been unable to get any help from Draftsight.

I have same issue with mouse; what's weird, that on touchpad everything works normally. Only when I use mouse, pointer lags.

You might want to see if the right mouse is selected in the mouse settings.  A generic one is enabled and selected by default.
