Listening to system sounds and external hardware
#1
Why hello there, if anyone knows how to, could someone tell me how to listen to system sounds, and listen to external input devices like turntables or record players. I wanna listen to my new Yes records, and play video games.
I'm using Manjaro now. But if anyone needs help with Linux Lite, I'm here for you.

There are no system sounds.  To get your external devices to give output, left click on the sound indicator in your panel, go to Sound Settings, and then click on the Configuration tab.  From there you can select a different output profile that matches your device.

You can also get to the same settings by going to the Volume Control utility.  It's located at Menu->Multimedia->Volume Control.  From there you go to the Configuration tab and follow what I wrote above.

There is also extensive Sound configuration information in the Help Manual. Menu > Favorites > Help Manual.
