Reverse Scrolling is not working despite activating it in touchpad settings

I am having the same problem. Funny thing is, reverse scrolling does not work in Firefox or the package manager but does work in thunar.

I think this is the Ubuntu Bug you need:

I installed the Linux Lite operating system on my computer just today. I am liking it, however, the scrolling direction in the touchpad is in the opposite direction. I soon found the reverse scrolling option in the touchpad settings, and activated it right after but nothing has changed. I tried rebooting too, no change. Please suggest me a fix to get back my reverse scrolling. I love it. Please someone help me
