Updates can not be installed - 400 Bad Request - Salman21 - 10-07-2025
While trying to install Linux lite updates a message displays that says "could not fetch the package cache information lists". Please assist me in resolving the issue. I would be thankful.

Error 400 can have several causes. Sometimes it is a temporary condition and will just work if you try later.
While this condition is present you can check by copying and pasting the URL below into your browser.

What does your browser show for the I have been facing this issue for many months.I have pasted the given URL into my browser and the page full of text is shown. File is attached.

This is the third report of this symptom recently, so something odd is happening.

Unfortunatly those posters did not engage in the process of attempting to fix.
Can you report how your system connects to the internet and what steps you have already tried ?
