The solution to the follow was to re-install python enchant.
Hi, I am having a problem with Chromium broken dependencies which is affecting installing other things in Lite Tweaks. So I tried to remove it and got this. I also included a snippet of a system report.
I'm attempting to remove some software, Chromium in particular and get the following error. I have a Dell XPS M1210 LL3.2
Here's the log from when I tried to remove it:
sudo apt-get remove chromium-browser
[sudo] password for annkronick:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
chromium-browser python-enchant
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 2 to remove and 48 not upgraded.
2 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 265 MB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n] y
dpkg: error processing package chromium-browser (--remove):

reinstall it before attempting a removal

Removing python-enchant (1.6.6-2) ...

I also did a system log and found the following

rH python-enchant 1.6.6-2 all spellchecking library for Pytho

Hi;
I'm having copy and paste issues it started under 4.12.?? kernel and under 4.13.1 kernel I've updated parcellite to 1.21 and it goes there but will not let me paste in g+ in chromium 61.
this is just started happening after some updates.
While I know since I'm running super gamer distro based off or Linux lite and Xubuntu I have less help here but I wanted to let all know.
btw 4.13.,1 works for me :
gt750ti
amd 8320
asrock mobo 970m pro
12gig ram
3 hard drives +1ssd+dvd burner
evga 750 g2l psu

I have an old Novatech laptop that I intend installing LL 3.6 onto. The trouble is i can boot from the install medium ok, all appears to load ok, but I never get to a desktop. I have tried various operating systems to no avail. I have reset the Bios but don't know what else to try. Any ideas please?

| System hangs during boot |

I am having a problem with a fresh install:
On a Dell Inspiron Mini 1012, the boot process hangs during some systemd stuff
On SECOND run : I.e it works fine on first run after install but hangs after re-booting. This is my first try with the series 3 on this machine which was running 2.8 perfectly.
System hangs during boot after printing three or all of these lines;
[ OK ] Created slice system-systemd\x2drfkill.slice.
Starting Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status of rfkill0...
Starting Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status of rfkill1...
Starting Load/Save Screen Backlight Brightness of leds:dell::kbd_backlight...
I THINK
This bug is caused by the file /var/lib/systemd/backlight/platform-dell-laptop:leds:dell::kbd_backlight created by (I guess) [email protected]
As that file is re-created at shutdown, I have to mask the service systemd-backlight@leds\:dell\:\:kbd_backlight.service with:
sudo systemctl mask systemd-backlight@leds\:dell\:\:kbd_backlight.service
so kernel-4.4.0-93 doesn't hang at boot.
BUT I can’t get into the system to do this.
I tried going in in recovery mode, but it demands a root password for maintenance.
Can anyone help?
