Greetings!
I am having an issue with FileZilla (for a few weeks, now). More precisely, simply double-clicking a remote folder crashes FileZilla with the following output:
filezilla: symbol lookup error: filezilla: undefined symbol: _ZN2fz18replace_substringsERKNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIwSt11char_traitsIwESaIwEEES7_S7_I felt like this was more of a FileZilla issue so I searched their forums and found this:
Quote:Your installed version of FileZilla is incompatible with your installed version of libfilezilla. Please update to the most recent versions of both FileZilla and libfilezilla.
However, both my versions are the latest available ones in the repository:
francois@SilentPC:~$ apt-get -s install filezilla

francois@SilentPC:~$I have tried rebooting, reinstalling, etc... to no avail. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something I could do to troubleshoot the issue?
Thank you and have a nice day, fellow Lite'rs!
P.S. Also, totally unrelated but since this is probably very simple to fix, I'm rather ashamed to make a topic for this. My Whisker menu had the search bar and logout buttons at the bottom, and now they're above the actual menu. How can I revert them back?

That's what I am searching for ... but I am still new to this LINUX thing so I don't know any programmes or web pages to download games nor wine working nor other topics on this forum containing the info I NEED what I want is (well you know ) a game with a little bit of graphics .. not just an indie game from 1980 .... also as that I am on LL 32BIT steam isn't working ..... we need a (MIRACLE) program to fix all this ... hope any of you know something like this or have faced that before.

I have install kernel 4.13 through lite tweaks. But now my virtualbox giving error each time I am trying to open a virtual machine. Giving the below error.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)
The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Please install virtualbox-dkms package and load the kernel module by executing
'modprobe vboxdrv'
as root. If it is available in your distribution, you should install the DKMS package first. This package keeps track of Linux kernel changes and recompiles the vboxdrv kernel module if necessary.
where: suplibOsInit what: 3 VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED (-1908) - The support driver is not installed. On linux, open returned ENOENT.

Hi, Is there any date when Linux Lite 3.8 will be released. Looking for a fully UEFI supported release. What will be the upcoming features?
good day
I have installed linux lite 3.6 32 bit and it is excellent.
My problem is that the speakers on my laptop have no sound.
Details:
Card: Intel High Definition Audio Driver NM10 / ICH7
controller: snd_hda_intel
Sound: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture v: k4.4.0-93-generic
Laptop.
Brand Name: Asus
Model: 1011px
note: the headphones do work. Integrated speakers no.
I cannot boot into Linux lite 3.6 to install. Any help given would be great. My Nvidia card is EVGA 1070 FTW2.
Hi guys. So I have a wifi USB adapter on a desktop running Linux Lite 3.6. It's drivers are installed correctly and I can find and log into our WiFi network. But once I am in, the Internet will only work for about 2 seconds (browser will load a website for about 2 seconds and then it will stop and say no Internet). But the wifi signal shows as being strong and the connection stays connected the whole time. Despite that Internet appears to only work immediately after I disconnect and reconnect (for about 2 seconds after reconecting).
The USB adapter is Linksys N300 (which uses Broadcom bcm 43235). I installed it's Windows XP drivers via ndiswrapper, it's the same driver I used on Linux MX before and it worked fine for it. So I don't think it's a driver issue, but could be wrong of course. This my first time really trying Linux seriously. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I like Lite way more then MX and don't really want to go back to it.
