My Ruby icons are not showing up in file manager. They show up in the mime type editor, but not in Thunar on the desktop like they should. Json doesn't show up right either. The icons are in the set and show in the mime type editor but not on the desktop. What did I miss?

I'm having an issue with installing Linux Lite from an ISO image I've created. I created an iso with Linux Live Kit
I've had one machine end up with a completely black screen with red lines at the top of the screen and have nothing happen, boots back to how it was before I tried to image it.
I've tried searching the forums and google for anything like this, I've followed tutorials to set up PxeLinux on a WDS computer
My pxelinux default config file has the entry for it as:
LABEL linux
MENU LABEL LINUXTEST1
Kernel memdisk
initrd /Linux/linuxtest.iso
APPEND iso
The error I'm getting with the iso is:
Fatal error occured - could not locate linux data
something went wrong and we can't continue. This should never happen.
Please reboot your computer with ctrl+alt+delete

Here's a play test of Overwatch on Linux Lite 4.2 with Lutris. System is a Ryzen 7 1700X @3.6GHz with 16GB DDR4 @3066MHz. Radeon RX480 @Stock. Average ~150FPS given shaders were still compiling. This is on the latest Mesa and Vulkan drivers available as of 1-14-19 and also on the latest 4.20 kernel. Recorded with OBS in the mp4 format with libx264 hardware encoding @10000 bitrate / 1080p60.

Upon booting up my LL3.8 laptop, I got a pop up that an upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04LTS was available. How advisable is this move to upgrade to Ubuntu whereas I am an LL user? Note that my laptop is 32-bit. Kindly advise. Thanks.
Having just 'upgraded' to a 4 year old Acer X3995 with Intel i915 on board chip, I've been annoyed by the line of distortion across the screen when scrolling with any browser.
The normal disable Hardware Acceleration etc makes no difference.

Just did a fresh install of Linuxlite 3.8 32 bit on my dinosaur desktop.
Firefox isn't starting, it gives me a crash report.
Chromium isn't launching. When clicked... well nothing...
Accessing the internet is kinda of a big deal.
I don't know how to proceed. Help please 
Hello all. This is my first time here, and if I chose the wrong forum room I trust the moderator will redirect me to the right place.
I am currently running Linux Lite 3.8 32 Bit on two old netbooks I use for different purposes; an Asus Eee PC that sits on my workbench for research purposes, and a Samsung NC10 which I use as a media server to stream podcasts and internet radio all over my house using an FM transmitter (I've HAD it with Bluetooth!). Until just a few days ago, all was good and I was able to stream a particular iHeart radio station on either machine directly through iHeart or through a companion app called "Tuner". Then about Thursday of last week, suddenly I couldn't play either source on either machine. The pages load completely, all the "handshakes" take place and an icon for the station comes up with live ads that change, but I get a message that says "This station is no longer available". On the Asus, I also have Linux Mint 18 installed, so I decided to boot into that and the same station plays without issues as it does on two other iMacs we own that have LM 18 installed. The same stations play normally on my Android phone. All machines are fully updated.
I sort of assumed it might be because of a missing codec or security certificate, so I checked to see if I had "Ubuntu Restricted Extras" installed and I didn't. I Installed it - no difference. I'm kinda out of bullets at this point and was wondering if anyone had any ideas.
I really like Linux Lite, especially on these two old machines. Linux Mint runs kind of slow and clunky on these resource challenged boxes, Whereas Lite is quite snappy. Guess it's all kind of academic though since this is the last 32 Bit version. May have to eventually migrate to Puppy. Bummer!
