I tried to install Brave browser in my Linux desktop by following an online guide/article. I apparently did not correctly follow the instructions as I ended up corrupting my package sources. Now, I cannot update nor install any application. I cannot restore because I have not installed Timelight or similar ones.
Please, please help. Here is what the terminal says:
E: Malformed entry 2 in list file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave.list (Component)
E: The list of sources could not be read.

| Mouse Acceleration |

Running Lite 4.4 on a HP desktop.
Under Settings/Mouse & Touchpad/Acceleration,
the Acceleration slider has no effect
on my mouse's acceleration.
This is the case with both a wired and a wireless mouse.
I have to use the xinput command to change the mouse acceleration.
Using xinput works fine with both the wired and wireless mice,
although the acceleration property is worded differently between the two types.
Could this be a bug, or am I overlooking something.
I have tried 2 wireless mice and 4 wired mice and
get the same result, which is that the slider has no effect.
Edit: After researching this problem, it appears to be a bug
in ubuntu 18.04, which was corrected in ubuntu 18.10.
So, it seems the only way to change the mouse acceleration
is with the xinput command and to keep it set, put the command
in application startup.

Si lo prefieren, pueden hacerlo mediante: Menu >> Sistema >> Lite Tweaks y seleccionen "Kernel Installer".

| Updated snapshot of Lite 4.4 |

After installing Linux Lite 4.4, the initial update list seems to be very long
and it takes quite a while for the updates to install.
It would be very nice if there were a periodically updated snapshot .iso file
(perhaps once a month) that would include all the updates.
If you're just installing on your own personal computer, no big deal, but
if you're installing Lite on numerous other computers from time to time,
it would sure be a time saver.

Hi Jerry,
I was wondering if it's ok for me to sell a custom built computer with Linux Lite pre-installed locally.
I would donate every time I do it but don't want to violate a license.

How's it going all! It's been a while since I've interacted with a forum in general, and certainly my first time here. I just installed Linux Lite 4.4 the other day and it's my first foray into Linux overall. Already ran into a few snags so you'll see me in the help pages for sure. Looking forward to getting the hang of things and meeting y'all.
