Hello there!

I'm using a Microsoft Wireless 2000 Keyboard and noticed, that the Music Buttons on top doesn't seem to work with Tomahawk or Rythmbox.
Is it possible to activate this feature?

Yes it is, go to Menu, Settings, Keyboard. Example is here - http://docs.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-settings/keyboard#application_shortcuts Point the command to /usr/bin/nameofprogramhere then just tap the Music key on your keyboard when prompted.

Hello!

If such software is not incorporated into the keyboard's USB dongle, companies usually package a driver disk along with it.

I have an HP wireless keyboard, and I had to download a driver for it from HP to use certain features, such as it telling me when the batteries in either KB or mouse get low. It also could be that any such software would only work on Windows or a Mac.

I also have a Logitech USB keyboard. No driver CD was included, so I'm assuming the driver is incorporated into the dongle. Next time I'm on a Linux laptop, I'll see if the special keys on both work under Linux, also - just for curiosity's sake...

A gun in your hand is worth more than a whole police force on the phone.

I don't see a music button on my keyboard or laptop.  Where is it?   Can you create a picture of the keyboard for others to see.
