Yes engineer they need your specs. I had a similar thing happen to my laptop. An Acer Aspire 3000 and I/We were able to work through it and get the right driver for the wireless and then things are back to operating normally.

Please have patience with us. I know how frustrating it is. But it can be resolved. we just need information to help you. You should be able to load the usb or cd that you used to install, its called the live cd. If your system will boot up with that, then I am sure they/we can help you.

Don't give up on us yet please.

I doubt I can help you, but for the developers to help you, provide your specs.  Open up a terminal and type

sudo lshw

Enter your password and wait a few minutes.   Post the output.

New user here..

I had the software running good, I then installed the updates and it just seemed to fall apart.  No, wifi, it started running S L O W and the machine would not shut down..   I spent hours trying to fix it.  The only hope is to reinstall, but I am afraid that once I try to update it will only do the same thing again..

I tried to honestly to like Linux Lite... but this is too nerve racking...   :-\
