If you Google that bottom error, there is a Bug on Github in the results. Nothing to do with Linux Lite I'm afraid.

I uninstalled Openshot, Blender and Inkscape.  Then re-installed by using Lite Software.  My preferences are set to the same paths you show in your screenshot, but when I try to choose an animated title I still get this:

Thank you.

Does that mean I need to uninstall the Openshot and Blender that I have and then re-install it through Lite Software?

Also, I have previously installed Inkscape and have been using it as well.  Do I have to uninstall that?  (When I go to Advance Editor in Openshot it does get me to into Inkscape successfully.)

Openshot should be installed via Lite Software, which pulls in the correct Blender and Inkscape, both of which are dependencies of Openshot.
Testing in a VM produces perfect results.

First I installed Openshot by terminal a while back.  Then I installed Blender by terminal yesterday.

Although I do not think that Openshot includes Blender, the Openshot program defaults to pointing at "blender".

How did you install Openshot AND Blender? I will try duplicate in a VM.

Linux Lite 4.6

Default is: blender
Right now: /usr/bin/blender
And I have tried:  usr/bin/blender, usr/share/blender, usr/share/blender/2.82

in terminal, "which blender" says /usr/bin/blender, so that should be the path, right?

No luck yet.

Thanks

What version of Linux Lite? What is the path to Blender that Openshot is displaying?

I am trying to use BLENDER in OPENSHOT and I get the error in the pic below.  When I try and point OPENSHOT to the BLENDER file path (which I think is /usr/bin/blender) I still get the same error.  What am I doing wrong?
