I removed yahoo and now when i search the browser closes itself. I changed to duckduckgo and all seems to work fine.
Strange still why this is the case.

@thoughtinstinct Try Chrome settings...

Click the 3 dots upper right corner
Click Settings scroll down
In the Heading Search engine
Change Search engine used in the address bar
Set to Google

Reread -- you might have this set.. Look in Extensions
Also can check manage search engines (from above) and remove yahoo and others.
*PS - after setting - close all tabs/browser and relaunch

I do my searches from the adress bar, search engine on chrome set us Google
but i get redirected to yahoo results. What can it be?
