hi folks,

not able to get Linus Lite to recognize the webcam on my ancient 2006 MSI U100 laptop... tried the usual tricks like running Cheese and typing "sudo usermod -a -G video [username]" in Command Line... nothing works...

any advice appreciated... Linux Lite working very well on the old warhorse otherwise...

thanks much...

found the solution:
https://www.fixya.com/support/t15515473-msi_u100_webcam_driver_ubuntu_12_04

just had to press Fn & F6 to activate the webcam... derp...  ::)

keep this thread in case anyone else runs into the problem...
