I switched to Linux Lite on my desktop (with Mint on my laptop and Debian on my server) because I was tired of getting shat on by microshaft, and decided to go from Windows 7 to Linux Lite, it's absolutely fantastic. Linux Lite (and Mint) are a perfect desktop experience, and Linux Lite is perfect for gaming. Along with my IT and scientific needs. Oh, and it's also great for my record obsession.
