I use it within my XP VM to create bootable USB sticks.

CPU: Intel Pentium Duel CPU E2229 @ 2.40 GHz
MEMORY: 3Gb
VIDEO CARD: intel
Kernel: 5.x
I use UNetbootin. You can download it from Sourceforge or it's home page. After you download copy it to your USB Stick. Make sure you have room for it and whatever else you will be putting on the stick. After the download open Unetbootin and follow directions.

Beside having a look at the help manual you might want to check out
Etcher
to create an USB stick the easiest way.
