Drivers installed but not "loaded"

In this post the USB device is now showing and has a driver when compared with your earlier post number 15 where it wasn't listed.
Did you change anything between posts ?
Can you now see wireless networks detected ?

Clicking on the Network icon (usually in the bottom right area) should give you a list of Wifi Networks that the adaptor can see. You will need to set up the system so that it can join your network.

Jim,
Another thing to check when you get chance.
In the BIOS/UEFI settings does your machine have the option for secure boot ?
This can cause issues, so let us know how it is set (if you have it).
