Interesting so Code: [Select] sudo apt-get install -f should have thrown an error if there was a broken language dependency. Do we have any weird output?
sudo apt-get install -f
I'm available for Teamviewer in the next hour or so if you like TMG1961
Have you tried open terminal and running Code: [Select]sudo apt-get autoremove and see if the system removes any odd unused decencies that my be hanging up the system in the update. If not I know you probably already tried this but try just running Code: [Select]sudo apt-get updatewithout an upgrade if that goes through but the system is still not doing what is soppose to try Code: [Select] sudo apt-get install -f there could be a broken install in the mix that should correct it, or atleast let you know if something else is going on.
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get update
Hi TMG1961. Have you tried the Reload button (top left of screen) in Synaptic? I think the message you're getting may refer to that, rather than the LL Updates routine.
If you have Temaviewer installed, can you pm your id and password and I'll take a look for you.
