USB Persistence for LL v6.0

One thing to beware of - Windows wants to set the hardware clock to the local time. Linux wants to set the hardware clock to UTC / GMT / Zulu Time.

They can be made to agree - Linux can be made to use local time in the hardware clock (You loose automatic time changes for Daylight Savings if your region does that)

Windows can be made to use UTC / GMT / Zulu time.

I do not remember the salient procedures but they are not hard to google.

You're welcome :)

Alright then... Thanks for your help!

I will retry v5.8 and/or other distros and see if it changes something.

Not really any point in doing that, other distros and even earlier versions of LL, will be different in so many ways.

Unless my drive and/or my port are mislabeled, I believe I am already doing this...

I will retry v5.8 and/or other distros and see if it changes something.
