As I've already said the "hand" drag and drop indication appears because you can drag the application to another desktop.TC

I like to drag open applications on my taskbar to other places on the taskbar. I've been able to do that in many other Ubuntu-based distros. Since I see a hand/arrow appear when I attempt to drag an app to another taskbar place, I figured that the system was aware of what I was wanting to do and would accommodate me. But it doesn't. Seems like we're half way there, but nobody's listening. If other distros can do it, the best one ought to be able to do it too.
