From what I have read, the proprietary drivers for your chipset are bad. Stay on the open source drivers and install arandr to configure tv-out.

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install arandr

Hello every one , I have issues with the amd propietary driver ,when I install it after reboot the boot splash shows with less resolution and stay there in the splash screen.
When I start on recovery mode and push resume normal boot ,only shows a black screen  :o, it only happen with amd propieatary drivers ,with the open source drivers everthing works fine.
I need the amd catalyst for adjust the undercan when I connect to a HDTV. Thank you !!!
