  • CPU: Intel i5-3230M (4) @ 3.200GHz

  • MEMORY: 16Gb

  • VIDEO CARD: Intel 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics

  • Kernel: 5.x
Based on the following two links, it looks like the video adapter you have depends on an i915 driver that seems to be a part of Ubuntu already.  When I do a search for i915 in Install/Remove Software, I see an entry for "xserver-xorg-video-intel" that is already installed.  If you see that, too, maybe you can try reinstalling it.  Right-click and Mark for Reinstallation.

Hello,
there are no video drivers shown in additional drivers, only cpu intel or no device, it is on cpu Intel.
I have checked updates.
Currently resolution is 640x480, I would like it 1440x900.
How do I add in drivers for this ?
