I was thinking the same thing but also wondering if it would improve my overall system/graphics if installed.

It's safe to use, but if things are working to your liking, why change anything?  I'd say continue to run your regular updates, have good backups, and just enjoy the Linux Lite experience.

When I check for additional drivers, there's an option for "amd64-microcode firmware" or "do not use device". I chose "do not use device". Is it safe to use this driver? I'm assuming it is safe to use or else it wouldn't show up in the Additional Drivers box. Can anyone give me some advice on this? Thanks.
