A system restart solved the problem and allowed updates to install without error I'm happy. :)


My Linux Lite 6.2 is running good no problems no complaints. :)


Do you take money orders as I have no credit cards or debit cards and I don't write checks.

FTR (for the record) there is no one-size-fits-all solution to this. I have done a lot of research to date, and although there is a fix that will help some, it will also break others machines. It's just a wee rough storm we'll have to sail through.
