Error Update - ubuntu-wine PPA

(1/1)

stevef:
The manual has a section on removing the PPA from the list which will help do part of the job.
https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/software.html#pparem

Removing the Wine software itself depends on what instructions you followed and how far into the installation you got.

It looks like you have added a deprecated repository to your software sources which is stopping the update/upgrade process.

Reverse the method you used to remove any traces of the software and all references to the deprecated repository.

After removing the deprecated install, if you want to use Wine try installing it from the Lite Software tool

Click Menu
Begin typing 'Lite Software' into the search box.
When you see Lite Sofware offered, click on it.
Enter your password if asked, then click 'yes' to update the source information.
Wait for the update scan to complete
In the window that opens click 'Install Software' then 'OK'
Scroll the list to find 'Wine' and highlight it
Click 'Install' and follow the on screen instructions.

Thanks a lot stevef, I'm going to try and will get back to you.
