    • Linux Lite OS

  • CPU: Intel Core i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz

  • MEMORY: 32Gb

  • VIDEO CARD: nVidia GeForce GTX 1650

  • Kernel: 5.x

For those that have LightScribe DVD writers, the following should work.
FYI - this is a combination of many tutorials that I have poured over for hours to get to this point and to make everything work as it should, with a lot of customization.

Code: [Select]
wget https://www.linuxliteos.com/files/lightscribe/4l_1.0-r6_i386.deb
wget https://www.linuxliteos.com/files/lightscribe/lightscribe-1.18.27.10-linux-2.6-intel.deb
wget https://www.linuxliteos.com/files/lightscribe/lightscribeApplications-1.18.15.1-linux-2.6-intel.deb

Code: [Select]
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
sudo apt-get install -f

Now to check if everything went to plan, you should get a readout from:

Code: [Select]
4L-cli enumerate
similar to:

Code: [Select]
Using /etc/lightscribe.rc
Drive path: /dev/sr0
Usable: 1
Full name: hp DVD-RAM GH60L RD01 217
Model: DVD-RAM GH60L
Manufacturer: hp
Capabilities: monochrome
Drive inner radius: 21000
Drive outer radius: 58700

Then look in, Menu, Multimedia, Lightscribe Labeler.
