Good stuff, always fully research any software before installing it. That's my standard practice and the core reasons why I will never use or condone Windows or Apple technologies.

I did look into this at one point but then KeeFarce got released - http://arstechnica.com/security/2015/11/hacking-tool-swipes-encrypted-credentials-from-password-manager/ It would also be prudent to wait for an audit of their source code - https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/node/153614 to better protect our users. Cheers :)

Hi,

I'd like to suggest to replace the currently via Lite Software offered Password Manager KeePassX with the original KeePass2.

Reasons:
  • KeePass2 is by far more familiar to Windows users. It is even used in professional IT environments.
  • KeePass2 offers a lot more features than KeePassX and can for example be integrated with Firefox via KeeFox.
  • KeePass2 can also be easily installed, especially by using the ppa to stay updated.
Thanks for your consideration :)
