Support for HP printers in general is excellent
I sure wish I could say the same for Brother printers.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing,

Just wanted to say that I have a network printer/scanner HP Deskjet 4530 [or something] hosted under the same router that I am plugged into and the printer worked right off the bat - same goes for scanning function - without even any configuring or other mingling around on my part. Looks very well done aspect of the system and a merit of modern Ubuntu.
