Linux Lite is unbelievable!

Desktop, look at my screenshot make sure your settings are the same, the solid colour stays after a reboot:



I also have icons in the bottom right hand corner no problem:

With W7HP, I have three 10GB ext4 Linux partitions. Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon is a keeper on one. On the other two I've tried zillions of distros. Some are okay, some blow up in my face. But as of today, I believe Linux Lite is keeper number two.

Just a few quirks:

No way to choose a printer, as far as I can tell.
I set my desktop to dark gray, but if I go to settings>desktop, it flips back to black.
With Mediterranean appearances, I can't get my desktop icons into the lower right corner.
With the Raleigh appearance I can, but with with a 'balloon' around the text.
