Title: Linux Lite 4.0 Suggestions welcomed

'Ubuntu adds ‘Minimal Install’ option to installer'

https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2018/02/ubuntu-18-04-minimal-install-option

Hi, Jerry

Will this option be available in the Linux Lite 4X series installer?

Or could a similar option be included in the 4x series 'Welcome Screen'.  New users coming from Windows or other distros could still get the complete out-of-the-box experience that Linux Lite so generously offers, however more seasoned users could choose to conveniently opt-out of some apps they may prefer not to use - such as Gimp, Thunderbird etc (which I remove).

Thanks.

LibreOffice, Blender, and Samba (so my firewall gets some time to rest) would make for good opt-outs for me, as I am highly unlikely to ever use any of these.

Inclusion and exclusion of apps is very personal. We wouldn't offer this as it for previously stated reasons, is against our approach to new users. Can we also please keep 4.x suggestions to the one, established thread. Thank you.
