I have looked at freshplayer in the past, and even I had issues with it let alone - https://github.com/i-rinat/freshplayerplugin/blob/master/doc/known-issues.md Chrome installer in Lite Software will have pepperflashplugin-nonfree as discussed in previous threads. We need reliable solid software thats not going to break. Ubuntu can be a little slow on flash updates, but it's usually within a day. Youtube is on html5 now too.

Easy pepperflashplugin-nonfree and freshplayer integration on the already installed in firefox.

Here is my AntiX 15 readout Jerry to show what I am talking about (via command line of course)

Code: [Select]
harry@biker:~
$ apt search freshplayer
Sorting... Done
Full Text Search... Done
freshplayerplugin/jessie 0.3.3-0mx150+1 i386
  PPAPI-host NPAPI-plugin adapter

harry@biker:~
$ apt search pepperflash
Sorting... Done
Full Text Search... Done
pepperflashplugin-nonfree/stable 1.8.1 i386
  Pepper Flash Player - browser plugin

My readout above is from Debian Jessie repos. I figure Linux Lite can maybe be tweaked to have all this working out of the box for Windows users needing Netflix or whatever in their browsers. Be it Opera or Chromium which will see this as soon as they are installed by the new user.
The freshplayer is for Firefox running latest adobe flash 20 or what ever is around in google by the time you release 3.0.

Hello author. I like the idea of the computer addon for whisker, but I think u should keep the login screen the same because it feels more distinct and also it will be very easy for windows users to use when they log in.

It's that time again. It's your feedback that steers this distro in a progressive direction. Please remember to only include ideas that have both wide appeal and a sense of familiarity to Windows users eg. no Terminal stuff, ease of use, 'granny proof'.

If you have previously made a suggestion and it has not made it into other versions of Linux Lite, please do not make the suggestion again, I look at all the posts made and carefully weigh up their pros/cons. Your suggestions are appreciated, but like Linus once said...

I’d like to know what features most people would want. Any suggestions
 are welcome, but I won’t promise I’ll implement them.

Really looking forward to all of your suggestions :)

So far:

- New login screen (no more lightdm-webkit)
- Possible inclusion of Gnome Software (a software center).
- Looking at adding Ubuntu Extras by default (seems to have codecs people are use to on Windows ootb)
- Folders accessible from Menu - https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/suggestions-and-feedback/suggestion-for-an-addition-to-the-menu/

Linux Lite 3.0 due June 1st, 2016.
