How to Review, you're doing it fairly...

If only one application out of thousands irks you, give it a 6...now if we only knew how many out of the 23 Votes were Linux users and how many were Windows users.

All opinions expressed and all advice given by Trinidad Cruz on this forum are his responsibility alone and do not necessarily reflect the views or methods of the developers of Linux Lite. He is a citizen of the United States where it is acceptable to occasionally be uninformed and inept as long as you pay your taxes.

Complains about Chrome (Google) while using GMail address...  :005:

ikr, you'll also find that most people that complain about proprietary software, have a home full of proprietary devices...except RMS :)

I absolutely love their first line..."I can never understand how you can make a product that can't be removed" Firstly, I'm honored, I forgot that I was the original author of the GRUB bootloader and that I 'made a product that can't be removed", secondly, Microsoft make a product called Windows, see what happens if you try to remove Explorer vs removing Thunar in Linux...lol

I tought my analogy a little far-fetched. Then I remember a classic non-debate related to computing choices... enjoy!

A complete waste of time??? Think he finally figured out what happens when you remove a boot loader...  :beamup

Or is it the few seconds its on screen - on the incase you need to change kernel etc... PS that duration can be adjusted +/-  :045:

Yeah... Linux will never be popular because of a boot loader. Thats some solid ground right there. ;)
I wonder what would be the percentage of standard computer user that even know what a boot loader is and of that, what GRUB is.
Ze Fringe tribe haz spoken!

Sounds like a Xbox/Playstation or religious/politics debate in the sense that the ultimate argument being I chose/am X so X is the right/only choice and I must convince myself and others or this. You can then have open and civilzed discussions on your point of view or, be closed minded and in worst case scenarios, start wars. History has seen the lather a few times...
